Yesterday was the inaugural match at Audi Field, the new home of D.C. United located in Buzzard Point. The 20,000-seat stadium was sold out as D.C. United won 3-1 against the Vancouver Whitecaps. Some finishing touches still need to be done - for instance, many signs throughout the stadium have not been put up yet, but Audi Field was ready to host its inaugural match. Below are pictures from yesterday's festivities.
