Sneak Peek Photos of Station 4

Last night, Andrew Lightman, the editor of the Hill Rag and SW resident, got a tour of Station 4 and was kind enough to pass along some photos he took of the restaurant.  He invited me to come along, but I had a prior engagement and unfortunately couldn't attend. As you can see from the photos, there are a variety of seating types in the restaurant.  Also, reader Sylvia noticed yesterday that outdoor seating was set up in the patio and it appears to be wicker furniture. Andrew notes that the bar and indoor lounge area are still under construction and vendor issues have delayed the restaurant's opening.  If you haven't done so already, make your guess of the restaurant's opening date in the comments.

The partition separates the main seating area from the bar.

Here are some cool red seats along the still-papered up windows.

The place looks great! I know many SW residents have been waiting a long time for a sit down style restaurant in the area and I'm excited that the time has finally come.

Meh,

Too fancy for my likes. I'd much rather a simple atmosphere and cheap eats/drinks.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Med, and thanks for your outreach efforts to hire local residents and be a good neighbor well before opening day. We're delighted to welcome you and your team to Southwest.

The GF and I were just peaking through the window last night and were truly excited to finally have a sit down upscale place to eat that was actually in our neighborhood and not Capitol Hill. We can't wait to eat here on a regular basis!!! Finally SW has something other than the few offerings on the Waterfront.

I heard through the grapevine, that the Station 4 will open on June 9th. However, we all heard something that at one time or another. My source is realiable..

I’m excited to have someplace to go that’s not Cantina Marina and have been waiting since they first said they were going to open (March?). However, I think they missed the mark on the atmosphere for this area... all we really wanted was a neighborhood feeling place with cheap eats and good food, much like their other properties (Stoney’s, Tunnicliff’s, and Bullfeathers). I hope I’m not disappointed, but chances look pretty good so far.

I just read in the HillRag that Station4 is a two-level space. I was not aware of that. Is this true?
